This dividing is almost only used for low shoe lasts. Advantage: the last is very robust despite the dividing. Disadvantage: slipping off the last can be difficult
3-part
Use for low shoe and leg lasts. The exact run of the dividing and the screw connection can be modified. Advantage: slipping off the last is always ensured
Stepcut
Mainly used for low shoe lasts. The front and rear parts are held together by a strong screw. Advantage: few parts
Slidecut
Industrial dividing with internal mechanics. Shortening only in the hindfoot. Limited suitability for wood lasts or orthopaedics. Mainly for plastic lasts.
Foldcut
